On May 27th at 8:00am at the Lee's Summit Historical Cemetery VFW Post 5789 will hold a Memorial Day Ceremony.  It will be held at the Flag Pole at 3rd St. and Independence.  A breakfast will be held at the Post Home 329 SE Douglas, Lee's Summit following the ceremony.
Assistance in installing the nearly 200 flags on Friday May 24th at 6:00pm will be greatly appreciated.  The flags will be taken down on Monday evening at 6:00pm and assistance will be appreciated.
